The Fraser River is the longest river in British Columbia. With its headwaters in the Rockies, it flows west for 1400 km (870 mi) before reaching the Pacific Ocean.
Mount Cheam, also called Cheam Peak, it is the northernmost peak of the Skagit Range of the North Cascades Mountains. Mount Cheam is part of the oral history of the Sto:lo First Nation and in Halqemevlem (the language of the Sto:lo) it is called Theeth-uhl-kay, which means "wild strawberries".
